Traffic light maintenance on Main St. at the intersection of Mount Royal Blvd. 2023-05-10

 

The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public that the traffic lights at the intersection of Main Street and Mount Royal Boulevard will be in flashing mode until Wednesday, May 17 to accommodate the replacement of the traffic light pole. The lights will be flashing in yellow on Main Street and red on Mount Royal Boulevard. 

As a reminder, a flashing red light has the same meaning as a STOP sign. You must come to a complete stop. Then, look both ways, and proceed only after the intersection is clear. A flashing yellow light means slow down and proceed through the intersection with CAUTION. 

Delays are to be expected in the area as traffic will be slowed. 

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents and the motoring public.
