Street Reconstruction on Sumner Avenue - Water service between Hastings Street and Argyle Street will be affected; no through traffic at Lorne Street and Sumner Avenue 2023-06-23

 

The City of Moncton wishes to advise the public of interruptions to water service and traffic for sections of Sumner Avenue on Monday, June 26 from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. During this period, there will be a temporary interruption in the water supply to Sumner Park, including the splash pad and the neighboring residences. The intersection of Lorne Street and Sumner Avenue will be closed to motorists for the duration of this work. 

The closure is to permit the replacement of valves at the north and south sides of the Lorne and Sumner intersection. Residences within the affected area have been notified. 

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents and the motoring public.
