Semi-permanent Traffic Realignment on Université Avenue 2025-04-11

Location: Near 343 Université Ave., between Providence Street and Wheeler Boulevard

Date: Monday, April 14, 2025, until approximately Friday, April 17, 2026 (12 months)

Work details: A 50-metre Worksite Delivery Zone will be installed in front of the site to support construction of the Atlantic Science Enterprise Centre 

Traffic impact: Both traffic lanes and the sidewalk on Université Avenue will be shifted westerly. The northbound left-turn lane will be removed to prioritize through traffic. The sidewalk will remain open and will be protected by concrete barriers and covered scaffolding to ensure pedestrian safety. Lane widths will be adjusted to accommodate traffic in both directions, and new signage and lane markings will guide drivers and pedestrians through the realigned area.
