The City of Moncton is pleased to announce that, after nine years, Colin James is set to return to Moncton this summer for in-person celebrations on July 1, 2022.

Colin James’ career has spanned over 30 years with an impressive 20 studio albums, seven Juno Awards, 27 Maple Blues Awards and multi-platinum record sales. The Canadian blues master will close off the celebrations as he lights up the stage for July 1st celebrations, leading up to the annual tri-community firework show.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring together Monctonians once again this summer after two years of many virtual events. We are equally as excited to welcome Colin James back to Moncton, and look forward to all of the activities both on, and leading up to, July 1” said Mayor Dawn Arnold.

There will also be children’s entertainment and activities in the afternoon on July 1, leading up to the evening concert and tri-community firework show. The full schedule, including a number of events and programming in the week ahead of July 1, will be released at a later date.
