Moncton is the province’s largest retail destination. In the north end, the Mapleton Plaza and Wheeler Park Power Centre offer a wide range of retail, grocery and restaurant options. The CF Champlain mall in neighbouring Dieppe is one of Atlantic Canada’s largest, with more than 140 shops. Downtown Moncton features many independently owned stores that carry specialty items. Every Saturday morning, visitors to the Moncton Farmers’ Market will find locally grown fruits and vegetables, arts and crafts. Most retail outlets are open seven days a week, with Sunday hours often being shorter.
